It seems like only yesterday I filed my paperwork to run, and now we are into the last two weeks of the campaign. To be honest, it hasn't been the campaign I would have liked. Lack of funds held up getting signs, and still I can't afford as many as I might like. But all of that is irrelevant.
I started this campaign with my focus being on bringing new ideas to the table. I think I have. And the people I've talked to think so as well. The university campus plan has gotten the most resounding support, and I am thankful to those who pushed me to make it front and centre in my campaign.
So, where to from here? Well, tonight I'll be tweeting and blogging from the mayoralty debate at Loyalist College. Tomorrow is the walkable communities meeting, also at Loyalist. Thursday is the Wharf Street Debating Club bun feed at the Belleville Club. Friday is supposed to be a debate for the Council candidates in Ward 1 (Belleville).
Anyway, off to prepare for the debate. Back a little before 7 PM.
