Another talented Subban comes Belleville's way

Belleville will be welcoming another member of the Subban clan to our beautiful city. Jordan, a defenceman like his brother P.K. who went from starring with the Bulls to doing the same with the Montreal Canadiens, was drafted 5th overall in the OHL Draft today. He will join older brother Malcolm with the Bulls in the fall.

He had 21 goals and 43 assists for 64 points in the 68 games he played last season with the OHL Cup champion minor midget Toronto Marlboros.

While fans shouldn't raise their expectations too high for the Bull's newest defenceman - blueliners generally take longer to grow into their position than forwards - he will have an opportunity to make the team this fall and, if all goes well, may have a chance to follow in his big brother's footsteps to the World Juniors.

Of note here is the chance that Malcolm may get the chance to make it a possible 3 for 3. After a strong performance at the World U-18 championships, a strong season could mean a shot at the 2012-13 WJC team.
